Olumide Olatoye is from Okemesi – Ekiti, in Ekiti West Local Government of Ekiti-State
He attended St. Andrew Pry. School, he was the Health Prefect at elementary school
He later attended Eyemote Grammar in form 1, and later transferred to Christ School for the rest of his secondary school academy years. He was a sports Icon, represented Christ School as a Table Tennis and Soccer player.
He also attended Ilesa College of Education and University of Ife respectively, major in Physical and Health Education and Sports Coaching. He taught in various schools, such as Ikogosi High School, St. Phillips Grammar School, Amokegun High School, and Oluorogbo High School before migrated to Canada in 1987. He also established and funded a soccer team in Ile Ife called ‘Oranmiyan Babes’
During the first Ondo State sports festival, Hon. Olatoye won the first gold medal for Ekiti in Table Tennis.
He was also a Top 12 champion of Table Tennis in Ontario province in 1992, and won so many trophies and championship medals during his playing days, locally and internationally.
Hon. Olumide Olatoye is an accomplished and distinguished teacher, coach, community leader and a business man of high reputes.
Hon. Olumide Olatoye serves in various capacity in Ekiti kete Canada , Yoruba and Nigeria community organizations in Toronto, such as a president of Ekitikete Canada, member of BoD of Nigeria Community Association representing Yoruba Community, and now as a Chairman, BoD of Ekitikete Canada, and Chairman of Country Club of Yoruba Ambassadors, Canada Chapter.
Hon. Olumide Olatoye is always eager to serve in any capacity to move his community forward, he always use his resources to support his community.
Currently, Hon Olumide Olatoye is the CEO of Weston Quick Printers and PrinterUs Ltd., a business he established in 1992, CEO of Toye Trinity Sports Academy, a non-profit organization set up to help the vulnerable youth and seniors in our community, a program which its goal is to target healthy living and gain leadership through sports.
Over the span of three decades, Hon Olatoye has received numerous awards for his community activism and contributions, as well as for his professional ethics in business world. Too many awards and certificate to mention.
Hon. Olatoye is also a partner at Olatoyehomes Realty, a real estate organization based in Toronto Canada
Hon. Olumide Olatoye believes that integrity matters in whatever you do, and whatever you have is not as important as what you give to others.
